Nova Scotia  

Picture: Tidal Bore at Truro, Nova Scotia: This is a natural phenomenon which is seen in only a few parts of the world. The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world and because of the "funneling" shape of the river this advancing tide becomes a wave called "Tidal Bore".

These cards were sent by Misty who is based in Truro, we of course have a Truro here in England in the county of Cornwall. Misty was very quick to respond to my request for cards and I appreciate that, thank you Misty.

Picture: Nova Scotia is a peninsula 374 miles long on the eastern coast of Canada. It has 4,625 miles of sea coast, and was discovered in 1497 by John Cabot. The variety of scenery found in Nova Scotia is some of the most spectacular on this continent.
